Hello Uwe, Pekka & all,

Things slowly come together ...

The OpenCMS worked brilliantly when I substituted my machine name for
localhost ... ah, well, it was in the instructions, but I must have missed it.

So, OpenCMS is beginning to look mostly very good. My installation may,
however, have a problem with displaying html. Many (not all) times I try to
display an html page I get a "Ein Systemfehler ist aufgetreten" box with a
CMSException of 15 ... xml seems to display correctly. Can my Internet
Explorer not be set up correctly ? I've installed the ledit .dll's and the
.ocx package (correctly, I think) and I've set up IE in the correct
fashion. It is version 5 and has its "Tools | Security | Trusted Sites"
pointing to http://opencms.mymachine.mycompany.com and all of the ActiveX
and cookies and JavaScript turned on for the "Trusted Sites" ...

Initially there were many errors, so I inserted my machine name into the
trusted domain spec (as above) and many vanished, but there are still
significant errors displaying html. Can anyone advise ... ?

Also, where can I find the wysiwyg editor and system docs instructing in
operation of the system ?

Thanks very much ; it's beginning to look good ...

Best,

Chris Gianniotis
