I was used that I could then access the tomcat examples via

Instead of

http://server:8080/examples.

but it doesn't work. Analogically hereto I 
wanted to use /opencms rather than ..:8080:/opencms.

It is required to have something like

WebAppConnection <arbitrary name> warp localhost:8080
WebAppDeploy examples conn /examples

optionally:

WebAppInfo /webapp-info
