[opencms-dev] error when choosing /projects/ for new project in 4.6

I'm trying to follow the demo example in the Manual
but when entering /projects/ in the definition form
I'm getting 
"Leider konnte das Projekt nicht angelegt werden.

Grund: Die Projektdaten sind ungültig oder falsch geschrieben...
"
