[opencms-dev] installing opencms in a existing oracle database

Hi,

i want to install opencms on a existing oracle 8.1.7 database.

1) It would be helpful for me, if opencms would run in its own schema.
How can i achieve this?

2) Is there a functionality or another difference between using then
generic sql connection method or oracle driver direct?
