Hi All,

A colleague of mine is trying to get OpenCms "Flex" working with Oracle 9i.
His configuration is Windows 2000 / Tomcat 4.0.5 / J2SDK1.4.1 / Oracle 9i
and he installed OpenCms selecting the "Genericsql" driver (which works
fine with Oracle 8.1.7). However, after an apparently successful
installation, he gets the following message when trying to load the OpenCms
login screen:

javax.servlet.ServletException: [CmsException]: 33 Resourcebroker-init
error. Detailed Error: Critical error while loading resourcebroker. .
Caught Exception: >[CmsException]: 4 Sql exception. Detailed Error:
[com.opencms.dbpool.CmsIdGenerator]ORA-01552: cannot use system rollback
segment for non-system tablespace 'USERS'
. Caught Exception: >java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01552: cannot use system
rollback segment for non-system tablespace 'USERS'
<<

He created a rollback segment for the USERS tablespace but that did not
help.

I do not have access to Oracle 9i, but if anybody has OpenCms working with
9i, using the genericsql driver, could they let me know if there is
anything particular to watch out for?

Thanks,
Mark

Mark Foley
