[opencms-dev] want sample code for database insertion and updation

Hello,

   Anybody can give me ideas about insert and update entry in database on the opencms?
   My connection is JDBC - MySQL and works well.
   
   I got the result of "SELECT * FROM....."  statement with the help of getting Object on the template.
   But have no ideas about How can insert and update the table via this object?
  
   Please give me the sample code for the same...Advanced thanks.
