Hi Kai,
to your question regarding newsmodul and Oracle. Try to set the property 'poolname' for the news module in the module administration from the mysql poolname to jdbc:opencmspool:oracleOci and execue the newsmodule sql script in Oracle.
I have not tried it but could work.
Best regards, Joerg

Hi Deepak,
we used the classes12.jar driver to connect to oracle and placed it in the
/lib -directory of Tomcat (4.0.4).
Then we selected GENERICSQL in the setup wizard and entered a
connectionstring like
jdbc:oracle:thin:@your_oracle_db:1521:your_SID
That works quite fine here (but of course not with some modules like the
news module which is written for mysql)
By the way, is there someone out there with a news module for Oracle???
Best regards,
Kai
