[opencms-dev] Bug in Publishing of .doc, .xls,.ppt, etc?

Hi list,

one more question (Oracle, Catalina 4.0.4, OpenCMS 5.0 RC1): 
as far as I remember it was possible to upload  Worddocuments and
Excel-Sheets, etc. to opencms. Now I have the following problems:

1. In the offline project I am not able to preview these files as I get a
transmission error from IE 6.0

2. When publishing I get the following exception and the file is not
exported. However: in the online project I can open it but the file is
delivered by opencms (opencms/opencms/...) The userrights are the same as
with HTML.

Is it just a  conceptual misunderstanding for my part, wrong settings or a
bug??
As it is quite urgent I would be very happy about a quick answer!
