[opencms-dev] javascript error

If you're running 5.0beta or 5.0rc1, make sure you've specified a
file.encoding of utf-8 when you start up your Java environment (i.e., by
passing a -Dfile.encoding=UTF-8 to your tomcat startup process).

Version 5.0rc2 checks during installation to ensure that its expected
file.encoding matches that of its Java environment, so if updating is an
option in your case, that might make it worth your effort to do so.
