[opencms-dev] Unable to create files/folders (see also OpenCms Bugzilla -> Bug 34)

Hi @all,

when trying to create a new file, folder, etc. in the OpenCms Explorer
i get allways stuck in the "New" Dialog. The description of the bug is
almost equal to Bug 34 in the OpenCms Bugzilla list except for the
system
components.

I would be grateful to hear if somebody has the same problem and
perhaps a solution. Thanks in advance :-)

System and job description follows:

System:
RedHat Linux 7.2
OpenCms 5.0 beta 2
Jakarta-Tomcat 4.0.4 (RPM installation)
Apache 1.3.27 (mod_jk 1.3)
JDK 1.3.1_03
MySQL 3.23.54

Job:
- Using the Explorer view
- select "system" in project Offline
- Click Icon for new file/folder
- select what item to create
- click "Continue >>" button
--> no reaction - the dialog does not continue
--> Internet Explorer: JavaScript error
--> Netscape: no error message
