Hi,
which XML parsing error did you get exactly?
> 1.)
opencms.jar is in opencms_5.0_rc_2.zip, opencmsboot.jar is not in OpenCms 5
any more.
You can check this easily by looking in opencms directory after fresh
installation...
> 2.)
No, absolutely not.

Subject: [opencms-dev] Using self build java classes
Hello!
I tried to do the CMSExample5 given in the documentation from march 2002.
I used the files "opencms.jar" and "opencmsboot.jar" for compiling.
This succeded without any problems. After that I made an upload to the
Opencms
system in the last subdirectory to the root of my classes directory that
belonged
to my module.
I defined the elementdef and made an element call.
I only got a XMLParsing error, when I tried to run the build page,
but the templates where still correct.
I also restarted the Tomcat so that it could deploy the new class.
So, I have two questions:
1.) Where can I find the actual "opencmsboot.jar" and "opencms.jar" files
that belong to the
OpenCMS 5 RC 2 distribution?
2.) Is it possible to use the "opencmsboot.jar" file and "opencms.jar" file
from the OpenCMS 4.6 release?
Can anybody help me, using own java classes?
THX
Regards Sven.
