Jürgen,

An updated documentation will be available with the final release of
OpenCms 5. The PDF-documentation on the OpenCms website is for version 4
and describes only the "old" XML Template mechanism. But you can use it
for a description of the workplace and backoffice.
But consider that a lot has changed in the virtual file system layout in
OpenCms 5.

I checked the older mails in the list and found a thread several weeks
ago 'bout this topic. The error seems to occur with Mysql 4x . The
solution is to drop the database manually and reinstall via wizard.
Everything is working fine now. Thanks for your help! OpenCms seems to
be worth a closer look ;) One further question: where can I find any
documentation ? Any hints for a newbie?
