Alex,
Thanks for your response. I understand that the
integrated module mechanism is the only way to modify
OpenCms while keeping the right to choose the license
that applies on these changes.
Being not familiar with the integrated module
mechanism, I am wondering what can be achieved by that
mean. For example, is it possible to:
- modify the User Interface of OpenCms (*)?
- support a proprietary templating system?
- modify the access to the database?
(*) colors, fonts, hide some commands and add others,
replace the "views" with tabs, add a "browsing-based"
navigation in addition to the "folder-based"
navigation, etc.
