hello,
 
if you have mysql running, it must be possible to login in a commandline
shell with "mysql --user xxxx -pyyyy" where xxxx is the username you
configured for opencms and yyy is the password. When you can login and
use the db for opencms you are on the right way...

hello.

when i start the opencms, i got the error message like this:

javax.servlet.ServletException: OpenCms initialization error!
Could not connect to the database. Is the database up and running?


i wander how i could know if my database(mysql) is running. could
someone tell me about this in detail?
