Dear Olli Aro,
Thank you very much. The groups I created namely reporters, editors,
photographers, in-charges were directly member of administrators group
and not users group. And that's why any one except admin could not meet
the authentication. Is this rule and some similar rules documented
somewhere in OpenCms.org?
Then how so you define a user's group when you need to provide him
Explore, Administration (Partial) and Tasks View? I am planning to make
a group that is the child of Users group and some of the users of that
group are also member of Administrators group so that they can get the
administrative privileges.

I have some problem with Mozilla (i use Mozilla 1.0.0 under Linux ).
I try export the database (or touch file etc).
There is the date "12-31-1970 12:00:00" in the field "Export only".
I get javascript message:
>The date format you have speciefied is invalid.
>Please use the following format: mm-dd-yyyy hh:mm:ss (PM/AM)
I get this error if I use Mozilla 1.0. under WinNT4 too.
I don't get this error if I use IE60.

Dear All,
I am being able to access my OpenCms installation from remote client in
my Windows 2000 network using admin/admin account. But I have created
some more users (say ashik/ashik), but Tomcat challenges me whenever I
try to connect using http://kalgan:8080/opencms/opencms/system/login ,
showing that OpenCms realm in host kalgan needs username and password
(BASIC authentication dialog). I tried to provide all the name password
pair but without success. For example, admin/admin, ashik/ashik,
opencms/opencms, root/ , user/password etc. In some machines, only for
admin/admin in login page, Tomcat does not throw the Basic Dialog Box.
As an information, I am using JDK1.4.1_02, OpenCms 5.0_rc2, Tomcat
4.1.24, MySQL 3.23, All Windows 2000 Professional workstations, IE6 as
browser and done trusted site addition, ActiveX Control enabling.
Any help please.
