[opencms-dev] Restriction from Administration View

Dear list,
 
I prepared a new group Reporters as child group of Users group in
OpenCms 5.0. I created a user ashik who is member of Reporters group and
a project named TDS who's users are Reporters and Managers are
Administrators. Everything is going fine.
 
Now I want the following to do.
 
1. I want the option Administration from the View combo box to disappear
for Reporters. So any reporter will get only two views Explorer and
Workflow.
2. I want to change the names Explorer and WorkFlow as News and Tasks
respectively.
3. I want to replace the version 5.0 on the top menu with News
Management or a gif image.
4. I want the publish icon to disappear from the top menu.
5. If I want to develop a new user interface instead of the current one,
specific for newspaper management system, what should I do?
 
Please provide me some hints. I am planning to explore and modify the
source code to accomplish the above tasks. But may be there are simpler
ways to do these.
