[opencms-dev] 5.0 - Install problems on Linux SuSe 7.1

I have to set this environment variable to get past
that nagging 1:	com.opencms.core.CmsException: 33
Resourcebroker-init error. Detailed error: Database
init failed.

export CATALINA_OPTS=-Dfile.encoding=ISO-8859-1

But now the next problem is this:

269:	com.opencms.core.CmsException: 2 Not found.
Detailed error: [com.opencms.file.mySql.CmsDbAccess]
/default/vfs/false/download/system/galleries/externallinks/.

268:	 ( 5 / 859 ) Importing
/false/download/system/galleries/externallinks/    !!!
Exception com.opencms.core.CmsException:
[com.opencms.file.mySql.CmsDbAccess]
/default/vfs/false/download/system/galleries/externallinks/
267:	 ( 4 / 859 ) Importing
/system/galleries/download/ o.k.


How may I correct this problem?  fyi, I am using
tomcat 4.1.18, jdk1.4.0_01, mysql 3.23.42 and
OpenCMS5.0 release.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. I have wasted two days fooling around with this,
it has not given me a good impression yet. Why even
bother with having that ISO-8559-1 encoding
requirement?
