I think this is the mysql password for the root mysql user.  The user 
you need is a mysql user that has database creation priviledges, and 
their matching password.

BTW, other people have had problems with SuSE 8.1.  I suggest upgrading 
to 8.2.  I have and I'm very pleased with it.
