[opencms-dev] Developing outside the VFS ??

Hi all,
 
Currently, to work on my .jsp pages, here's what I do : 
- I've setup a synchronisation folder
- I work on my jsp inside my IDE (Sun One Studio)
- to test every modification i : 
    * save the file inside my IDE
    * to "synchronise" with OpenCMS administration
    * refresh the page in my browser
 
Is there a way to directly work on files, for development purpose, to no
more need the "synchronise" step ? This means, is it possible to work JSPs
and classes outside the VFS ?
