What about using something like 

CmsJspActionElement cms = 
  new CmsJspActionElement(pageContext, request, response);
String foldername = "/myfolder/";
Iterator i = cms.getCmsObject().getFilesInFolder(foldername).iterator();

That should give you a list of all of the files in a folder, including
(I believe) links.
