hi,

OpenCMS 5.0
Mac OS 10.2
IE 5.2 for Mac
MySQL (latest version, not sure of number)

When i try to upload a module via the web interface it truncates the
.zip filenames and then i get a series of error messages from the java
console. I've tried both add from server or local. This only happens
on modules whose names have been truncated by the browser in the
wizard. This seems like such a stupidly simple problem!!! Do I not
have something set up right?

here is what the file name is when i ls from the console:
com.alkacon.documentation.documentation-modules_1.0.zip

here is how it shows up when i use either method (local or server) to
import:
com.alkacon.documenttax70737B.zip

and here are the messages that i get when i select "continue":
Importing module ... com.alkacon.documentation.documentation-jsp
Exception com.opencms.core.CmsException: 34 Registry error. Detailed
error: the dependencies for the module are not fulfilled..
at com.opencms.file.CmsRegistry.importModule(CmsRegistry.java:1844)
at
com.opencms.workplace.CmsAdminModuleImportThread.run(CmsAdminModuleImpor
tThread.java:110)

and I have a script set up to start tomcat that contains this line:
export CATALINA_OPTS=-Dfile.encoding=ISO-8859-1

everything starts up and works fine. the only problem i had prior to
this is i can't connect to any mysql databases from the console (Access
Denied messages no matter if i use root or whatever) but opencms is
able to make a full connection no problem.

TIA!
