[opencms-dev] random crash of tomcat

dear list members,

we are using opencms for a project and before going life opencms
is crashing tomcat randomly. that means it makes no difference between
visiting the website nor using the admin tool.

we are using:
-debian linux stable, kernel 2.4.21 on a heartbeat and drbd cluster (running with no 
problems).
-IBM Java 1.4.1
-Opencms 5.0.0
-Tomcat 4.1.24
-mysql 4.0.13-2
-apache 1.3.27.1-2 with mod_jk
http-requests are served by apache, tomcat is mounted with mod_jk.

we tested the same configuration and the same opencms project on a test server before,
same problem.

in catalina.out sometimes there is no log about the crash at all, sometimes
there is a huge log that it can not post here, it starts with:
