[opencms-dev] Problems after installation

Hi all,
I'm newbie in OpenCMS.
After a successfully installation of the software OpenCMS 5.0 on 
RedHat 7.1, with Tomcat 4.1.27 and
j2sdk-1_4_2_01), I go to login and all ok.
I'm using Internet Explorer 6.0.

So I created, like Admin, a new project named Nice try, like in the 
demo of the user documentation.
When I go to edit the file installation.html with the HTML Editor I 
don't see the previous
content of this file, and if I insert new text and images, the 
previous content is overriden.
The same thing happen every time I open the file with the editor.

In the Edit sourcecode instead appear this:
<! [CDATA [
]]>>
not the html source.

I tried also to create a new html file but, after compiling all 
properties, with the template
Welcome /Release note Template, it get this error:

With the Empty template this is the error:
