Hi,
I found a solution!
I did like this:
1) I unpack it and copy the directory "opencms.war" and I then I was able to
deploy it.
2) I installed with the opencms setup wizard.
3) Then go to the file opencms.properties in the directory
opencms.war/WEB-INF/config
and set the Variable: url_prefix_http=/opencms/opencms
4) Restart Jboss
Best Regards,
Ove

Hi,
I have installed opencms 5.0.0 together with jboss-3.2.2RC3 but there is som
problems.
I have try to deploy opencms into direcory "/server/default/deploy" in three
diffrent ways:
1) I deploy the file opencms.war, Tomcat finds the context but opencms
states that it was not unpacked.
2) I unpack it and copy it to the directory "opencms" and try to deploy,
Tomcat does not find its context
3) I unpack it and copy the directory "opencms.war" and I am able to deploy
it.
Then I install it with opencms setup wizard, when finish, it says:
Login to the OpenCms workplace, point your browser to the following URL:
/opencms.war/opencms/system/login/
But when I try to login to the OpenCms workplace, it don't work.
If changed the url to:
/opencms/opencms/system/login/ ,
I get login screen, I login with this:
Username: Admin
Password: admin
Then it redirect to:
http://www.domain.com/opencms.war/opencms/system/login/index.html?login=true
and it don't work!!!
What to do?
Help urgent!!
I read about this problem, anyone find a solution?
Best Regards,
Ove

sorry,
both optiond do not work:
- the embedded Tomcat has no server.xml. And no "unpackWARs"
- when I deploy opencms.war into /server/default/deploy, Tomcat finds the
context, but opencms states that it was not unpacked.
- when I unpack it and copy the directory "opencms" with or without the
ending ".war", Tomcat does not find its context

Two possibilities:
A) Change in the server.xml the following parameters:
unpackWARs="true" autoDeploy="true">
B)Second: name the directory "opencms" not "opencms.war". But as I
remember the directory will be created automatically when you extract
the war file...

I am trying to install OPENCMS under JBOSS 3.2 and Tomcat 4.1.
When I deploy opencms.war, everything seems ok. Starting the setup
results in a screen which tells me that the opencms.war file was not
unpacked.
Then, I create a "opencms.war" directory in the deployment directory,
unpack the opencms.war file into this directory. The trouble, I get no
access to it.
What am I doing wron?
Thanks for your help
Klaus
