[opencms-dev] Synchronizing doesn't write the HTML!

I tried editing the edittemplate and you're right.  It doesn't work. 
 Having to edit both is a drag--and defeats the purpose of editing and 
synchronizing.

The problem then is what other options are available for editing HTML 
when the page and sourcecoded editors are inadequate to the task?
