[opencms-dev] Displaying files in the left-hand-side tree structure

I've been looking at some of the code that generates the left-hand-side tree structure. I've figured out that the "dfsTree()" method in explorer.js prints out the tree to the screen. However, it only prints out folders - no files. What would I have to do to get files to appear in that list? I've been looking at what CmsExplorerResources.java does, and a few other files - but I can't seem to figure out how to get files (as well as folders) to appear in the tree structure. 
 
This is a very important issue for me!
