No this list is the right one. It's just that your timing is bad.

The interface is currently being rewritten and so it's of no great value
(well to me at least) to make changes in the 5.0 interface. Check out the
CVS HEAD if you want to see the revised interface.

Best Regards,
Alex.

Subject: [opencms-dev] Are there any other OpenCMS mailing lists?

I'm getting the sense that this mailing list is only for questions related
to installation and setup. It seems like no one knows anything about the
core functionality - and how to modify the way that OpenCMS works. Is this
safe to assume?

If this is the case, I would like to know if there's another mailing list
that deals more with the underlying architecture of the product.

Over the last week I've posted several messages dealing with the
architecture - how to change some of the behaviors of OpenCMS. If no one on
this mailing list is trying to make these types of changes to the product,
then I guess I'll need to find another list - or a group of people who are
tying to do what I'm doing.

I think the product is great in terms of functionality, but many of our
customers are complaining (very loudly) about the interface and usability.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

- Dylan
