[opencms-dev] any way to do this?

Hi all,

So I'd like to have only HTML in files that are of plain type.

That way editors can edit them with out touching html or jsp.

I don't want ANY jsp in the files.

So I'd like to render these pages using a template, with Headers and
Footers, and section nav that are included from external files.

Is this possible?

I've tried using the template property from a plain file but that
doesnt render using the template, it just shows the plain file.

I know I can pull in stuff from the template with includes, but this seems
to defeat the purpose of the WYSISYG editor.

And requires a bit of seemingly unnecessary code.

Thanks,

Chuck
