I think it is interesting that you are using Struts with OpenCMS. Could you
share more of these experiences? What advantages do you get from this? Could
you outline how you do this? I am basically just currious about whether I
could have any benefits from doing this too.

In OpenCMS we took advantage of the Administration console view.
We had to do some hacking but we eventually figured out how to create an
icon in the admin console and have it link to a jsp.

Opencms has documentation on creating administration tools using XML
but we had no interest in using proprietary XML. In the documentation it
said somewhere that they are slowly deprecating XML for JSP anyway.

We are starting to use OpenCMS a lot more. Now that we found out how
to use struts with it. It's probably going to be our primary CMS system.

What do do mean by "We are probably going to use it for our OpenCMS custom
Admin tools"? Could you please give me some more details. It sounds
interesting.

No we haven't used it yet. We are probably going to use it for
our OpenCMS custom Admin tools.

Yes, my company has considered it. We are still in the process of evaluating
WYSIWYGs to find the one that best meets our client's needs and fits into
OpenCms. Have you successfully plugged this one in?
