Hello,

    I'm afraid OpenCms doesn't work on Resin, at least version 5.0.0.
I don't see why you say Tomcat performs poorly .. do you have any bad 
experiences with it?
I can say it is working great , did you tried to tweak the configs (-Xmx 
etc.)?
