[opencms-dev] Very slow performance editing large html file in opencms

I am having slow performance editing a large file in opencms. It is
taking 20 to 45 minutes to open the page to edit. The size of the file
is 843008 in opencms.  (  or .8 mb )

 

I am running opencms on bea application server 8.1 and using oracle 9i
as the database.  

 

Smaller files seem to work ok.

 

Does anyone have any ideas to try and fix this problem?
