[opencms-dev] project / editor errors

I had similar issues and found that after fresh install you immediately 
need to upgrade the xercesImpl.jar under tomcat\common\endorsed to a later 
version. There is more info on this in the mail archives op opencms.org.

i have installed openCMS and everything seems to be fine with the install. 
my installed OpenCms version is: 
5.0.1 Kaitain
Running on Sun Microsystems Inc. Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.4.1_01-b01 
mixed mode with Windows 2000 5.0 (x86)

i can login in and view the pages that come with the default projects. 
however, when i try to create a new project or edit pages I get the error 
below. initially i was able to create a project, as directed in the 
OpenCMS user manual, but was unable to open any of the HTML pages with the 
page editor, and have not been able to create a second project since then. 


i uninstalled and reinstalled openCMS - again install went fine, but i am 
still having the same problem.

any ideas on how to fix this?
