[opencms-dev] Problems following OpenCmsmanual tutorial

I have library xercesImpl_.jar in the ../endorsed folder. I start Tomcat
4 in stand alone with "catalina start" and it should set CLASSPATH there
eventhough. Tomcat's startup is supposed to run: 

set JAVA_ENDORSED_DIRS=%BASEDIR%\common\endorsed

in setclasspath.bat

Well, this is the root cause

>java.lang.NoSuchMethodError:
org.apache.xerces.dom.CoreDocumentImpl.getEncoding()Ljava/lang/String;


Do you have the xerces-j version 2.6.2 installed on tomcat/common/lib or
..../endorsed folder ?

Check your classpath and good luck !
