[opencms-dev] Is it possible to connect to a remote site throgh OpenCMS

Hello all
 
Is it possible to connect to a remote site throgh OpenCMS.And does it require that Tomcat,MySql,OpenCMSon the server that hosts the site.
Also can someone please provide a brief explanation of how it is to be done..if it can be!!
