[opencms-dev] Zero resources are published

Hi,

I think I found the reason for my publishing problem.

I created the projects after I imported my data and modules from version
5.3.5, which seemed to confuse the publishing mechanism to believe that
resources and folders already present in the project folders were not
belonging to the project. I could publish the items directly one at a time.
All module items were also immediately available online after I re-imported
them. New pages that were added later could also be published right away
with the rest of the project.

It seems that I need to create my projects and associated root project
folders first before I import OpenCMS data and modules otherwise the
"Publish Project" operation will not recognize them right away. Is this
intentional (known feature)?

Regards

Mario

PS. Just tried accessing my site through Firefox. The pages are updated more
smoothly than with IE (No Flicker). What a pleasure.

Subject: [opencms-dev] Zero resources are published

Hi,

I have a heck of a time figuring out why my resources are never published
when I publish my project in OpenCMS 6.0 alpha 3. I will probably be
embarrassed when I finally find the reason but currently I would definitely
appreciate some help figuring this out.

The publishing mechanism finishes with success except that it is telling me
that 0 resources were published, which could indicate that it is not able to
find any of the resources. My folders and modules belonging to the site were
included with the project, and the workplace seems to reflect this when I
switch to the project. What am I missing here?

This should be the last step before I am completely up and running with 6.0
alpha 3.

Regards

Mario
