[opencms-dev] Formatting dates retrieved via taglib from xml-content

Hi all,

is it possible to format a date retrieved via taglib:

<cms:contentshow element="Date" />

returns a long number and I'd like to format it, e.g. using
org.opencms.util.CmsDateUtil.getDateShort(...)?
