[opencms-dev] personalization of web content

Hi all.

Is there a Faq/Howto about how to provide personalized web content?
The OpenCms documentation is somewhat short at this point. I have
to create personalized web content but the login information does
not come from OpenCms Users but from an external database. How can I
overwrite the login mechanism in OpenCms? Any samples available?
