Hi,

can I change the default encoding to ISO-8859-1 in the opencms-system.xml
file or will this lead to unpredictable results? Of course, I will then have
to change the Tomcat default encoding accordingly.

Regards
Ulrich

Static pages are served by Apache or Tomcat?

What HTTP-header does the Server send?
Here is an example:

| Content-Type: text/html;charset=UTF-8

If the static pages are served by apache,
try creating a .htaccess file with
| AddDefaultCharset UTF-8

BTDT.

Thomas
