Just execute it:
this build file (/modules/build.xml) will call the another build file,
that now builds just the core without modules (/build.xml)

I have to copy the part of the build.xml of the module to the general
build.xml or just execute this build?

You have to use modules/build.xml file in order to get war with modules.
