[opencms-dev] Question about update of a search index file

Hello All.

Could anyone answer the following question?
I have installed OpenCMS 6.0 beta. I would like to know if search index file
is automaticly updated after site content is changed and published. It seems
to me that manual rebuilt of search index is required.
Are there any means in OpenCMS to schedule some actions, for example the
update of search index.
