[opencms-dev] Exception in while working with template One news

Hmm, probably you should not use the latest versions, they require an
servlet 2.4 / jsp 2.0 compliant container, such as Tomcat 5.5.x.

When you use that version, you should also modify web.xml in opencms to
reflect that version.

Or you could replace the jstl.jar / standard.jar with the 2.3 / jsp 1.2
compliant version and change the uri back to /jstl/, which is the right uri
for that version.note that /jsp/ was prefixed in the latest version only.

See http://jakarta.apache.org/taglibs/doc/standard-doc/intro.html for some
documentation.

Yeah,

I also tried to replace the jst.jar and standard.jar with the last libraries
relaeased by Jakarta with the .tld updated to the new SUN library URI (which
is /jsp/jstl/... ad not /jstl/...) but the system gives back the following
error (after restarting tomcat):

HTTP Status 500 - org.apache.jasper.JasperException:
jsp.error.beans.property.conversion

type Status report

message org.apache.jasper.JasperException:
jsp.error.beans.property.conversion

description The server encountered an internal error
(org.apache.jasper.JasperException: jsp.error.beans.property.conversion)
that prevented it from fulfilling this request.

Just to make sure, do you have the jst.jar and standard.jar in your
classpath? Presumably web-inf lib?
