[opencms-dev] Online and offline data in different instances of DB ?

I installed opencms 6.0  on Jboss and Oracle. I saw that it creates a bunch
of _ONLINE_ and _OFFLINE_ tables .  
I assume that the online data is stored in the _ONLINE_ tables and offline
in the _OFFLINE_ tables . 
Is it possible to have the online data in a separate instance and offline
data in a separate instance of a DB ?
