Chris,
you can get rid of /opencms/opencms/ with mod_proxy and mod_rewrite modules
of apache 2.
read the mod_proxy documentation under Alkacon-Dokumenation in the current
RC1 which describes,
how you can setup opencms as ROOT webapp and connect it to apache, or goto
opencms-forum.de:
http://www.opencms-forum.de/viewtopic.php?t=713&highlight=himberger
where you don't have to install opencms as ROOT webapp (I haven't tested
this approach)
but be aware: getting mod_jk to work with mod_rewrite is not so easy (at
least on win mashines)
HTH,
Regards, Arash

[opencms-dev] Problem with trailing

I have setup my site, and linked images etc, but have run into a problem.
When a user types in http://mydomain/opencms/opencms none of my links work
because the second opencms if replaced with the linked page such as
http://mydomain/opencms/faq.html . This is of course fixed if the user
types in http://mydomain/opencms/opencms/ -- note the trailing slash.
Is there a way to fix this on the cms end, and if not, is there a way i can
fix it?
[opencms 6.0 rc1 / linux 2.4 / tomcat 5.0 / apache http 2.054 ]
thanks,
