Hi Anthony,
I've just installed 6rc1 as well.
If you've executed correctly the installation wizard, Page 5 allows you
to select or opt out of OpenCms modules. Some of them relate to the
doc.
If you did not deselect any of them you should have installed them.
They should be visible once you've started your installation through the
URL
http://localhost:xxxx/opencms/opencms/alkacon-
<http://localhost:xxxx/opencms/opencms/alkacon->
documentation/documentation_jsp/index.html
Alternately you can download them from Alkacon web site and install them
through the
'administration -> module management'
interface.
Other than that the doc is 5.0 related but I've have found it to be
relevant.
Check this :
http://www.opencms.org/export/download/opencms/opencms_5.0_doc_full.zip
<http://www.opencms.org/export/download/opencms/opencms_5.0_doc_full.zip
>
for a quick intro.
There is also a book by Matt Butcher : 'Building Websites with OpenCms'
http://www.packtpub.com/view_book/isbn/1904811043
<http://www.packtpub.com/view_book/isbn/1904811043>
But I've not ordered it yet.

Subject: [opencms-dev] Version 6 Documentation
Does it exist?
There is a note that
"The documentation modules for the 6.0 development releases are
currently available as part of the main distribution download"
What does that mean? I've installed 6.0 and can't see anything like
docs.
Can I load the v 5.0 doc modules into V6.0?
Should I uninstall V6.0 and go back to 5.0?
In general, what are the best sources of information? Are there any?
This was asked by someone else before, a reply would be much
appreciated.
