[opencms-dev] cms:property escapeHTML parameter - what does this do?

Reading through the past archives of this list I am finding examples of
usage of the parameter escapeHTML when using the cms:property call from
the cms taglib. 

What does this feature do?

Is it still present in OpenCMS 6 rc2? 

I see no mention of it in the 6 rc 2 doc files describing the cms
taglib.
