[opencms-dev] How to create new resource type on XML XSD?

Hi,

I am following the documentation on the 6.0.0 to create new XML content. 
However, I could not find a way to create new XML content based on my 
XSD file.
How to add my new XSD to the resource type that I can choose in the menu 
"new --> stuctured content"
Or do I have to put it manually in the opencms-modules.xml

I am new here, any suggestion on where should I find resources or any 
documentation worth reading please recommmend.
