[opencms-dev] Maximum database size

Hello,

I'm a newbie with OpenCms.

I would like to use OpenCms as a document manager system, in order to
put DOC, XLS, PDF files, etc.

But I have a big question : OpenCms puts all data in the database
(mine is a MySQL)...

If I have 1000 files of 1Mo, it makes 1Go...
Would it be a problem to have such a big database ? What are MySQL
(and maybe OpenCms) limits about total maximum size ?
