[opencms-dev] Explanations of Modules in version 6

Hello,

 

In the modules templates,  for the faq module there is 2 views (in the
workplace)

 

layout.faq.center.listelement.short =
/system/modules/org.opencms.frontend.templateone.modules/elements/list_faqs_
center.jsp
layout.faq.center.listelement =
/system/modules/org.opencms.frontend.templateone.modules/elements/list_faqs_
center_long.jsp

 

By default, the long list is showing. How can I switch the version? By
creating  a  New property like layout.center.short or another?

 

 

Can i use the same mechanism to present different views  of the events or
news modules on the right side?

 

Examples:

layout.event.right.listelement.myevent1 =
/system/modules/org.opencms.frontend.templateone.modules/elements/my_event_r
ight.jsp

layout.event.right.listelement.myevent2 =
/system/modules/org.opencms.frontend.templateone.modules/elements/my_event2_
right.jsp

 

Last question of the module: How to add a personal modules in the layout
selectors. 

 

Example: templateonedialog.layout.center.mynews = List of my personal news

 

I understand, I need to create a shared file defined in the
/system/shared/templateone/center/mynews 

 

What are the next steps?
