Hi,
| UUID generation service is tied to a single MAC address across the
| cluster. This would be fine if there was a central authority in the
| cluster for generating UUIDs (to synchronize the time component of the
| UUID); otherwise, collisions are possible.
You can achieve this if you use the HASIngletonService on the Opencms
Class...
| Perhaps also creating an I_CmsUUIDGenerator service, one implementation
| of which calls a centralized EJB, would be appropriate?
here i would use a MBean for such a service.
