Another issue I have found while running in a cluster.

UUID generation service is tied to a single MAC address across the
cluster.  This would be fine if there was a central authority in the
cluster for generating UUIDs (to synchronize the time component of the
UUID); otherwise, collisions are possible.

Perhaps also creating an I_CmsUUIDGenerator service, one implementation
of which calls a centralized EJB, would be appropriate?
